KCAW is steered by a volunteering group of Advisory Members who meet monthly to discuss the direction of the festival programming, share ideas, support each other and other projects that elevate the creative framework of our area of West London. The advisory meetings are also attended by guests who may want to flag up exciting new initiatives in the area.Â
We are an independent, not-for-profit annual festival, created by local volunteering professionals because there was nothing like it in Kensington + Chelsea, and there was a serious need to collaborate and provide support to local arts institutions no matter how big or small. The festival is still run by the same people who joined in 2018. We fundraise every year to fund the activities of Art Week, with Art Trail creating high-profile visibility for the festival.
Join us as a volunteer to learn about the amazing cultural activity in K&C:
Zone 1: North Kensington
Zone 2: Notting Hill + Holland Park
Zone 3: Kensington Church Street
Zone 4: High Street KensingtonÂ
Zone 5: South Kensington
Zone 6: Earl's Court
Zone 7: Knightsbridge
Zone 8: Sloane Square + King's Road
Zone 9: Old Chelsea + World's End
We have set a calendar of monthly socials where you can join our Advisory Board members to discuss the programming for each zone, learn about the new projects, and get your or your organisation involved.
