Aishwarya Gupta is an eleven-year-old writer, performer, and all-round young talent with a remarkable list of achievements across literature, music, and dance.
Passionate about writing, Aishwarya has received several accolades for her poetry. She has won the Kensington and Chelsea Poetry Corner competition, the Young Poets Network Prize, and the City of London Poetry Contest. Her poem “Bang Thud Crash”, which powerfully captures the experiences of a refugee, was selected for the AIM London Literature Festival.
In 2024, she was invited as the keynote speaker at the Roald Dahl Museum in the UK, as part of an event organised by Author in Me Publishers. Her poem “Your Voice Matters” received widespread acclaim, and the second edition of her book was launched in New Delhi by esteemed author Dr Shashi Tharoor and Milee Aishwarya of Penguin Random House.
Beyond writing, Aishwarya has made her mark in music and Indian classical dance, performing at notable events including the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Downing Street in 2022. She has also appeared on the BBC Breakfast Show and was invited to meet members of the Royal Family, including the Duchess of Cambridge, at Westminster Abbey.
A passionate advocate for young readers, Aishwarya hopes to inspire others to discover the joys of reading and writing. Proceeds from the sale of her books support arts-based charities.
