Ken Cox has worked for 50 years as an illustrator in the media, newspapers and publishing, as well as exhibiting his own work. His practice encompasses framed quilts, drawings and subverts the form of vintage American comic books with multilayered, collaged screenprints that reflect preoccupations with time, love, loss and identity.
He has exhibited in many galleries, restaurants and other venues in and around London and is a council member of the Chelsea Arts Club. He has lectured in design and drawing for many years with fashion and knitwear students at Nottingham Trent University and has illustrated several children’s books. Cox studied at Harrow School of Art and The Royal College of Art.
