The Bhavan - the largest centre for Indian Classical Arts in the UK - proudly presents a first of its kind event: ‘THE ART OF TABLA’. Featuring a stalwart of the Farukhabad Gharana, the maestro Pt. Sanjay Mukherjee will perform accompanied by Sri Hiranmay Mitra on Harmonium on Sun June 26.
The event includes a lecture - demonstration on June 25. Open to all musicians, drummers and percussionists, this is a unique opportunity to come and witness the precision and the rhythmic vitality of the Tabla. Our main aims are the promotion of Classical Indian arts, yoga, languages and culture.
