Home Grown in Kensington and Chelsea by Kipling Hunt

This artwork was created especially for Kensington Memorial Park, to be temporarily exhibited on the side of a shed currently used for storage by the Kensington Dragons football team.

The paintings feature four examples of cut plants, homegrown from a private garden, in recycled jam jars filled with water. As the artist comments: “These four panels are painted and primed in acrylic, with the intention of being seen from a distance by pedestrians walking in the Kensington Memorial Gardens. They might also be viewed from the no.7 or 316 bus.”
