Goldfinger crafts quality bespoke furniture and homewares from reclaimed and sustainable
materials. They are an award-winning social enterprise working for the good of people and planet.
Every penny of profit supports the Goldfinger Academy, which works in schools to equip young learners to become the sustainably-minded designers of the future, and offers public craft workshops, with free spaces available for local residents who are facing financial hardship. Goldfinger also supports its community through People's Kitchen: To Your Door, delivering free restaurant-quality meals to vulnerable local residents.
Goldfinger is located on the ground floor of the iconic grade-II listed Trellick Tower in the heart of North Kensington. The space combines a bespoke furniture workshop, a sustainable design shop, showcasing the work of brands and local makers, and a community café, which provides the perfect place for creatives, makers and residents to connect and share a meal.
During KCAW21, Goldfinger will showcase the work of designer and printmaker Pia Östlund, whose work preserves printmaking techniques that reveal the power and beauty of nature. On 26 June, she will share her skills and show participants how a walk in the city, a curious eye, and simple printmaking skills can make beautiful works of art.
