During KCAW22 the Serpentine will present the Serpentine Pavilion 2022: Designed by Chicago-based artist Theaster Gates with the architectural support of Adjaye Associate, Black Chapel draws inspiration from the architectural typologies of chapels and the great kilns of Stoke-on-Trent, England.
In addition, the Gallery will feature Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster’s Alienarium 5, a speculative environment that invites us to imagine possible encounters with extra-terrestrials.
