Sloane Stanley is delighted to support an installation by artist Fiona Grady on the windows of 312-314 King's Road as part of the Kensington + Chelsea Art Week 2020 Chelsea Windows collaboration.
Crisp triangular motifs in enticing colours, criss-cross this site-specific vinyl window installation, designed especially for the festival. Golden triangles reflect the surrounding streetscapes, drawing parallels with the architectural details of local buildings and enlivening the vista for the passers - by.
London based artist Fiona Grady studied art at Leeds College of Art, Cardiff School of Art and Design and Wimbledon College of Art (UAL). Alongside her striking vinyl works, Grady is known for her printmaking and her screen print designs often influence and inspire her wall drawings and window installations. Grady explores ‘the relationship between what’s going on outside and what is happening inside’, playing with the shape of a space, available light sources, and its connection to its environment.
“I am interested in putting shapes into different spaces and finding out what happens when you create rhythms…”
– Fiona Grady

We are especially excited to be able to sponsor this work by Fiona Grady and continue our longstanding commitment to promoting arts and culture in the area.
