An exhibiton of works on paper by local artist Aileen McGee. Aileen is a long time resident of Kensington and Chelsea and these collage works on paper are inspired by what she encounters as she goes about her day in the borough.
'I’ve been photographing the city streets for years, amassing images of the colours I encounter.Nature surviving and thriving in the concrete and asphalt along with the spray paint markings that form the lexicon of what lies beneath our feet, the language of the utilities that keep us running. These shapes and the colour interventions of urban life inform this body of work.'
