Recent projects include observations from still life and drawing from nature en plein air. The children have developed technical drawing skills and created vibrant works inspired by past masters, looking in particular at the works of Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse and Henri Rousseau. Other projects showcase colour splashed works emulating the singular style of the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky while older children have been exploring themes underpinned by the natural world, biomimicry and classical music.
